The children will play with a variety of toys including science ktis, boxes filled with magic tricks, and ride-on cars.

You might be wondering what the compensation will be? The children will be paid in a years worth of toys.

Aldi is asking children – with the permission of their parents – to upload a 30 second video, in which they have to review and play with their favourite toy.

Parents are welcomed to partake by helping with recording or lighting.

Aldi has encouraged applicants to show their personality but also have some knowledge about the latest toys.

The deadline for applications is December 23, so if this sounds like something you think you or your child will be great for, you better apply quick.

The 10 children will be selected by Aldi’s toy team, and the new “employee” entries will be uploaded to the supermarket’s website. The entries will also be posted to Mumsnet.

Julie Ashfield of Aldi UK, said: “At Aldi we’re always looking for new ways to ensure our toys stay ahead of the game.”

“This is a great opportunity for children to continue doing what they do best – playing with toys!”

A good starting point would be Aldi’s Kevin the Carrot that just got back in stock, but you’ll need to act fast to get your hands on them.
