IF you’re in need of a career change, or just want some extra cash, then look no further because you can get paid to try on wedding gowns and eat lots of cake.

An online exhibition platform is looking to hire one wedding-obsessed person to travel around the UK to try on wedding dresses and review them – and you’ll be paid £50 an hour.

As a “Wedding Fair Tester”, all travel expenses will be covered, including accommodation, and you’ll even get a little extra pocket money so you can splurge on some wedding-related goodies at each fair.

The enviable new gig is listed by Expocart, and offers one very lucky individual the chance to attend up to 20 wedding exhibitions from March through to September.

What’s involved? Well, you simply attend each fair, write a review, include good quality photos and list pricing details of the items you reviewed –  sounds good to us.

The best part is that no experience is necessary and all that’s required is a UK driving licence and good writing and literacy skills. You must be fluent in English and be over 18 to apply.

There is one downside, though, as the job requires you to give up your weekends to travel the country and look at all the wedding world has to offer, but that doesn’t sound too bad to us.

On the job listing, Jasmine Eilfield, co-founder and CPO of ExpoCart, said: “We’re excited to hire our Wedding Fair Tester and get them on the road to find all of the hottest trends that wedding fairs in the UK have to offer this year. If you fancy getting paid to spend your weekends sipping champagne and eating cake, please apply now.”

If you haven’t already started your application, check it out for yourself on the expocart website – but be quick because applications close on March 9, 2020.

If this isn’t the job for you, we recently revealed that The Queen was looking for someone to help refurbish Buckingham Palace.

And last month, The Queen was hunting for a gardener who would be paid £18k-a-year to live in Buckingham Palace too.

Meanwhile, for something a little different, you could get paid £38,000 to test sex toys.
