Nothing has supplied a surprise teaser for its forthcoming Nothing Phone (3) smartphone, and it’s shaping up to be a proper flagship – for better and for worse.
Following Google’s recent Android Show: I/O Edition stream, Nothing CEO Carl Pei issued a brief insight into the London-based company’s disruptive design work. He also provided a sneak preview of the company’s next big smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3).
While the device itself was blurred out, Pei did supply some interesting snippets of information, including the confirmation that it’ll be coming this summer.
Nothing Phone (3) – a genuine flagship
According to the CEO, the Nothing Phone (3) will be the company’s “first true flagship smartphone”, with “Premium materials, major performance upgrades, and software that really levels things up.”
Unfortunately, that increase in production values will come with an accompanying price hike – and it’s going to be a big one.

Pei revealed that the Nothing Phone (3) would “land somewhere around £800” (which works out to about $1,070). That’s certainly at the low end of the flagship tier when it comes to pricing, alongside the Google Pixel 9, the Samsung Galaxy S25, and the iPhone 16.
However, it will mark a £200 price hike over the Nothing Phone (2), which hit the market in 2024 for just £579 / $599.
Mind the gap, Nothing
It also means that there’s going to be a huge gap to its current mid-range option, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, which starts from £449.
With all that said, we’re genuinely excited to see what Nothing has to bring to the flagship table.
It’s one of the most interesting and design-led budget and mid-range phone suppliers on the market, so it’ll be interesting to see what it can do with a larger budget.
