Your star sign’s post-lockdown priority, from hitting the shops to getting your brows done

So many options – but what to do first? (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

We’ve experienced our first lifting of restrictions for many months, and, with varying degrees of enthusiasm, started to enjoy more freedom and opportunity to socialise and travel again.

But with all the excitement of pubs opening and beauty treatments being back on the menu, it’s easy to feel a bit overwhelmed.

What should you do first? What will actually bring you joy after months of lockdown?

Astrology can help to guide you.

Simply find your star sign below to see what your post-lockdown priority should be, and how you can best return to ‘normal’ life.

Aries

March 21 to April 20

Get going, Aries (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

Wild horses couldn’t hold you back, and you’re absolutely dying to return to unfettered freedom and movement.

Monday probably saw you standing in line at the salon, gym, pub and shops. A full house.

However, Aries are natural thrill-seekers and you’ve been dormant for so long, therefore a great day out at big, scary theme park should be just the ticket to blow those lockdown cobwebs away.

Taurus

April 21 to May 21

Book a restaurant, Taurus (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

You’re kind of laid-back about the whole thing, though getting your hair, nails, brows, lashes done is of interest, as is returning to the pubs and restaurants you enjoy.

Food is life for most Taureans, and eating out is one of your top priorities.

By now, you’ve probably exhausted your own culinary skills and the takeaway menus of your local area (and beyond). It’s time to dine out in style again (even if it’s outdoors for now).

Gemini

May 22 to June 21

Geminis will be looking forward to going to bookshops again (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

Geminis are ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, and need ongoing and high-octane stimulus and information to keep their lively minds thrumming.

The return of libraries and bookshops is a welcome joy for Geminis. Being able to browse for new fiction, mug up on topics of interest, start a new research project ticks your intellectual boxes. You’re a bit of a boffin.

Cancer

June 22 to July 23

Cancer, you’re longing for gossip (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

Cancerians could be one of the more reluctant signs to return to the world, because you love your home and are usually more than happy to get comfy and cosy in it.

However, you’re a social animal too and you love laughing and gossiping with friends, so al fresco drinks with your pals will be top of the list for this month ahead. Cheers!

Leo

July 24 to August 23

A haircut is on the cards for Leos (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

There’s no question and no doubt that barbershops, salons and hairdressers up and down the length and breadth of England would’ve been full of Leo beauties getting their manes, beards, bits and bobs preened and groomed.

Looking good matters enormously to proud Leos, and it usually starts (and ends) with the hair. When your barnet is on point, so are you.

Virgo

August 24 to September 23

Virgo, you’ll be excited to venture outside again (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

Virgos love new news, different cultures, fresh scenes and meeting new people, so the ability to travel a little more widely (hello, spring staycation) is a breath of fresh air in your world.

Maximum precautions will obviously be taken and implemented, because you are naturally prudent and anxious.

However, the chance to escape your four walls is simply irresistible, and you’ll be planning lots of mini escapes.

Libra

September 24 to October 23

Libras love company (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

Librans are social, charming animals and thrive in company – the more company the better, so the bigger the event the better.

Whatever festivals, shows, matches or markets you can get to and enjoy, you will. You love being in a crowd and feeling part of something bigger.

Plus, all those opportunities to meet new people, flirt your socks off, and mingle (at a 2m distance, of course) – bliss.

If nothing else, you can re-activate your intense and life-long people watching habit (other than out of the upstairs window).

Scorpio

October 24 to November 22

It’s finally time to return to the gym, Scorpio (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

The gym has been calling your name. Staying strong, active and in shape is important to you, because you like to be in control of how you look and feel, and you like to feel strong and powerful.

You have a confident nature, and you take on a lot in life, so feeling fit and strong matters. You’ll be there running, jumping, pumping and pushing.

Good for you, Scorps. Exercise clears your mind and makes you feel like taking on the world.

Sagittarius

November 23 to December 21

It’s all about animals for you, Sagittarius (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

It may be a little off the beaten track, but you’ll probably be found at any local venue that has animals. The zoo, farm, rescue centre, aquarium, sanctuary – wherever there are furry, feathery or scaly friends to be found, you’ll be there.

You adore animals. Of all of the zodiac signs, you have the strongest affinity with the animal world, and you’ve missed checking in on your pals. They will probably have missed you too.

Capricorn

December 22 to January 21

Capricorns should shop to their hearts’ content (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

Shops. Ah, shops. You love shopping. Browsing and wondering, price-comparing, watching what other people are buying, seeing the latest fashions and trends, treating yourself to something. Even just window shopping.

Online purchasing is all fair and good, but you HAVE missed the physical day out experience of being in town or on the High Street. You’d even queue for Primark.

Aquarius

January 22 to February 19

Have a wander, Aquarius (Picture: Getty Images/iStockphoto)

You know, it’s the charity shops you’ve really missed, because they are such fun places to wander around, you just never know what you might discover, and that’s an adventure in itself.

Plus you’ve probably got a heap of bags to drop off, because you can’t bear clutter at home.

You’re known for your vintage look, and you love pieces with a bit of history or that are unique. You will be back at all your favourites this week, checking out the eclectic mix of items.

Pisces

February 20 to March 20

Get in the water, Pisces (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)

You’re the zodiac’s mermaid, so swimming (or at least lounging by a beach, or enjoying a spa day) is probably something you’re keen to get back to.

All Pisceans love being around water, it’s your natural (and astrological) element, and you find it soothing and calming.

Get your flippers out and splash off to your nearest water zone. Have fun!
