You’re probably used to blasting Dizzee Rascal’s music in your car but now, you can have his voice too.

The Fix Up, Look Sharp rapper has teamed up with Waze, a popular sat-navigation app, to voice directions for its users.

Instead of the standard straight-speaking male or female, users can now opt to have Dizzee tell them to avoid ‘bonkers’ amounts traffic and to ‘fix up, look sharp’ while cruising past police on the roads in hilarious nods to his famous songs.

He’ll also give directions such as: ‘In 0.1 miles at the roundabout, continue straight and then at the roundabout, take the fourth exit mate,’ in his familiar cheeky chappy tones.

Ruairidh Roberts, Waze’s UK Country Manager, said: ‘We are more than excited to combine some of Dizzee Rascal’s famous lines with our voice navigation feature. While we can’t enjoy gigs in person this year, Dizzee will return smiles to our faces bringing a live experience.’

So far, fans have been fully entertained by Dizzee’s navigation with one tweeting: ‘Setting my Waze to the Dizzee Rascal voice setting has been the highlight of my day.’

‘Having @DizzeeRascal as the voice on my waze is something i didn’t know i needed,’ another admitted.

‘Guys, download @waze and make dizzee rascal direct you. It’s the funniest thing. A man said “you’re deya!” When I reached my destination,’ one added.

For those yet to try it out, a fan promised: ‘Dizzee Rascal voice on #Waze is jokes.’

‘Lmao sorry Dizzee being the voice for the nav on Waze is killing me Man said “Fix up, look sharp! Police ahead”,’ another tweeted.

It’s all in celebration of Dizzee’s new album E3 AF and his voice option will be available until November 30.

The East Londoner isn’t the only celebrity to lend their voice to Waze as stars like Morgan Freeman, Kevin Hart, DJ Khaled and Arnold Schwarzenegger are among those to provide unique directions.
