Xbox Live Deals with Gold update ahead of August free games reveal

[ad_1]

Games with Gold gets a lot of attention due to the excitement surrounding what new free games will be included.

But each week also includes another Xbox Live Gold promotion that fans should know about.

Deals with Gold is a weekly discount event that lowers the prices on a select group of titles.

And the Microsoft Store has been updated today with new Deal with Gold games to check out.

For the next seven days, Xbox One gamers have access to a special Quakecon sale and also have one more week of the Xbox Super Game Sale.

Both will be ending on Tuesday, July 30, just before the release of the Games with Gold August 2019 lineup.

According to the announcement made by Xbox’s Larry Hryb today, discounts are now available on Bethesda’s DOOM + Wolfenstein II Bundle.

This is an Xbox One X enhanced bundle that includes both high-rated games at a lower price.

“Enjoy two amazingly fun and critically acclaimed first-person shooters with the DOOM and Wolfenstein II bundle,” the official Microsoft Store description reads.

“DOOM returns as a brutally fun and challenging modern-day shooter experience. Combine your arsenal of futuristic and iconic guns, upgrades, movement and an advanced melee system to knock-down, slash, stomp, crush, and blow apart demons in creative and violent ways. Expand your gameplay experience using the DOOM SnapMap game editor to easily create, play, and share your content with the world.

“Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is the highly-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed, Wolfenstein: The New Order. An exhilarating adventure, Wolfenstein II sends players to Nazi-controlled America on a mission to recruit the boldest resistance leaders left.

“Fight the Nazis in iconic American locations, equip an arsenal of badass guns, and unleash new abilities to blast your way through legions of Nazi soldiers in this definitive first-person shooter.”

Other games included in the Deals with Gold sale are Just Cause 4, Call of Cthulhu and a number of Xbox 360, Backwards Compatible titles.

This includes Red Dead Redemption from Rockstar Games, Altered Beast and the BioShock games, including Infinite.

While the games listed above have been discounted, some will still be cheaper than others and their exact pricing and value will be listed on the Microsoft Store.

And if none of these new deals interests you, it won’t be long before we find out what new Xbox Live free games will be offered in August.

Microsoft isn’t likely to share this news today and it seems more likely that we will find out next week, nearer the end of the month.

It should be noted that the tech giant doesn’t have a set day to share news, meaning we could find out more in the coming days.

Games with Gold titles from July are still available and include Inside on Xbox One, alongside Big Crown: Showdown and Meet the Robinsons.
