World Cup qualifying round up as Ryan Fraser goal not enough for Scotland

Former world champions Spain survived a huge scare after they battled back from a goal down to beat Georgia 2-1 in Tblisi.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia looked to have turned Group B on its head when he fired the home side in front on the stroke of half time, but Manchester City ’s Ferran Torres levelled the scores after the break before Daniel Olmo’s long range stoppage time effort was too hot for goalkeeper Giorgi Loria to handle as the Spanish snatched the win.

Elsewhere in the group, Zlatan Ibrahimovich’s impressive return to the international scene for Sweden continued as the striker laid on an assist for Ludwig Augustinsson to open the scoring in a 3-0 win in Kosovo.

Alexander Isak and Sebastian Larsson scored the other goals.
