The premier European competition returns with Liverpool the reigning champions – yet they remain underdogs to retain the title, with Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid all willing to have their say.
When is the Champions League final?
The Champions League showpiece returns to May this season.
Last year saw a June date selected as Liverpool and Tottenham battled it out in Madrid.
But this time, the final will take place on May 23. 2020.
Where will the final be held?
Liverpool will be wishing to reach the final once again with the venue being the scene of their 2005 triumph – Ataturk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul.
Reds fans will remember the ground with great fondness, having come from 3-0 down to take the match to extra time before winning on penalties.
The 76,761-seater stadium plays host to Turkey’s national team games, but is formerly played at by four clubs including Galatasaray and Besiktas.
