What time is Love Island on Sunday? ITV2 show delayed due to Euro 2020 final

Love Island 2021 won’t air on its regular spot on ITV2 on Sunday due to the Euro 2020 final.

England will clash with Italy at Wembley Stadium on July 11, with the game kicking off at 8pm on BBC One and ITV simultaneously.

ITV2 announced it would push back the episode of Love Island by an hour, in the hope of the two events will not clash.

However, there may still be an overlap if the final goes into extra time and penalties.

ITV2 announced it would push back the episode of Love Island

Love Island is scheduled to start at 10pm, instead of its usual 9pm slot. It will end at 11pm.

The episode will air as usual on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.

It will be followed by the spin-off show Love Island: Aftersun on the same channel at 11pm.

Love Island host Laura Whitmore will be joined by “Munya Chawawa, HRVY and Clara Amfo to dissect all the latest news and gossip from the villa”.

It comes after Love Island fans were fuming on Wednesday, when the reality dating show was delayed due to the Euro 2020 semi final between England and Denmark.

The football match would have clashed with the ITV2 reality show, which usually airs at 9pm.

One Love Island fan tweeted an image of a tearful man, and wrote alongside it: “When you have to wait another hour to watch Love Island tonight due to the football.”
