Arsenal will aim to keep the pressure up on the sides above them in the race for the top four by collecting all three points against Premier League basement side Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners will look to quickly return to winning ways in the league following a 2-1 defeat to leaders Manchester City on New Year’s Day, after winning their previous four games.

The Clarets are down in 20th and in a real relegation dogfight as they sit three points adrift of safety heading into the weekend, having won just once all season.

Star striker Chris Wood has been sold to relegation rivals Newcastle, meaning Sean Dyche’s side have even less of an attacking threat heading into this game.

Mikel Arteta could opt for some changes following their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg defeat against Liverpool on Thursday, whereas the visitors should be fresh after a two week break from action.
