If you haven’t heard of Uoma Beauty, you’re about to – because the brand is now available at Boots.

Launching in selected stores and online, the Black-owned brand has just become easier to get your hands on.

Uoma has had influencers and beauty editors smitten, thanks to high pigment shadows and a wide range of tone options on the base products.

The brand is particularly well known for its unique shade system, in which consumers fall into a category, which then gets broken down into more shades.

Using the Fitzpatrick scale, which measures the skin’s reaction to the sun, Uoma created six Beauty Skin Kins: White Pearl, Fair Lady, Honey Honey, Bronze Venus, Brown Sugar, Black Pearl.

The idea is that shoppers can find their matches with greater ease once they’ve narrowed down their group, as the undertones in each are then simpler to identify.

Uoma Founder Sharon Chuter says: ‘London has been my second
home for many years, so I have shopped in Boots for much of my life.

‘It is a dream come true to have a leading beauty retailer such as Boots give Uoma the opportunity to bring our brand story to life for their customers.’

She adds that bringing inclusivity to the mass market is a priority for her.

These are our top five picks from the range.
