Unai Emery takes Arsenal training for first time – Can you read what is on his clipboard?

Unai Emery held his first Arsenal training session at London Colney this afternoon since taking over from Arsene Wenger last month.

The Frenchman, who previously managed Paris Saint-Germain, was seen shaking hands with Spanish full-back Hector Bellerin as he got to know his new squad.

The 46-year-old was clutching a clipboard appearing to detail training drills as he strode around the pitch.

There was a public outcry when media outlets published pictures of England assistant Steve Holland’s notes before the Three Lions’ World Cup clash with Panama – although Emery’s clipboard does not appear to contain a starting XI.

Arsenal players who failed to qualify for the World Cup or were not selected to represent their national teams were present today, with new signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos alongside the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Aaron Ramsey.

However, there was no evidence of new signing Bernd Leno as the squad also underwent medical screening and fitness tests – with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reportedly setting a new club record of 7m 97cm for a one-legged triple jump test.
