Tottenham working to sell four stars and top Antonio Conte target 'wants Spurs transfer'

Tottenham are working to offload four senior players as part of their bid to bring in new January recruits, reports claim. Antonio Conte is patiently awaiting new signings but so far, technical director Fabio Paratici and owner Daniel Levy have failed to deliver.

Tottenham are still keen on landing Adama Traore from Wolves with talks expected to continue between the two clubs over the jet-heeled Spaniard.

Speaking during his Twitch stream, Romano revealed that Adama is keen on making the switch to Tottenham to play under Conte.

The Wolves winger scored in his side’s 3-1 win over Southampton at the weekend but is still in and out of Bruno Lage’s side.

However, the prospect of working under Conte is an opportunity Adama feels he could not refuse.

The Spurs boss plans to deploy Adama at right wing-back as part of his bid to take the former Aston Villa and Middlesbrough man to the next level.

Conte has a track record for developing players in that position including Victor Moses and Archaf Hakimi.

Adama currently has 18 months left on his contract but Wolves boss Lage is not particularly keen on a sale.

Wolves would be more open to a sale given that they could then reinvest any fee into more new signings…
