Paulo Gazzaniga has been linked with a last-minute move to Liverpool following Adrian’s numerous recent errors while filling in for Alisson. Elsewhere, as Frank Lampard tries to shift dead wood from Chelsea’s defence, Antonio Rudiger reportedly sees Spurs as an ideal destination. Ryan Sessegnon, meanwhile, has officially been loaned to Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim until the end of the season.
Whether Rudiger arrives or Sessegnon goes, Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar. This all follows the arrival of striker Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica last weekend. Follow all the updates here:

ALISSON ABSENCE FUELS FIRE ON GAZZANIGA MOVE
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson could be out for as long as six weeks, manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted. That is only likely to intensify the club’s efforts to sign Gazzaniga, over whom the Reds have made contact with Spurs, today.
“It could have been worse, for sure,” Klopp said of Alisson’s injury. “I don’t want to put a timeframe, but four weeks is possible – six weeks more likely.”
Klopp also supported his back-up keeper Adrian, whose recent errors are another factor in the decision to pursue Gazzaniga, saying: “Adrian is a really good goalie. He played 11 games last year, we won all of them. [Against Villa] our goalie was not the problem. The reaction to that first goal was not his problem, it was our problem.”

SESSEGNON SET FOR LOAN
Ryan Sessegnon is yet to settle at Spurs since his arrival last summer and he won’t be doing so any time soon.
The former Fulham defender has agreed a loan move to Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim, according to Sky Sports.
Sessegnon was not included in Jose Mourinho’s squad for the 6-1 demolition of Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, and it is believed that the 20-year-old is in Germany to undergo a medical.

RUDIGER KEEN ON SPURS
Antonio Rudiger is reportedly keen on a move to Tottenham, with his future at Chelsea in serious doubt.
For all the money the Blues spent on attacking talent this summer, their defence is still suspect – even following the arrival of PSG captain Thiago Silva.
And with time running out in the summer window, Chelsea coach Frank Lampard knows he won’t be able to add more defenders but is eager to shift some dead wood at least.
As such, Rudiger knows he is under threat and – according to The Sun – the German sees Tottenham as a chance for a fresh start.

CHAMPIONS TARGET GAZZANIGA
Spurs’ second-choice goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga has attracted the interest of Liverpool, The Independent understands.
Following a string of recent errors by Adrian while filling in for Alisson, the Premier League champions have made contact with Tottenham over Gazzaniga.
The Argentine, who plays second fiddle to captain Hugo Lloris in north London and must also contend with new arrival Joe Hart, could be tempted by a move to the Anfield club, even if he is likely to remain a back-up if he does make the switch.
He might feel he could have kept out at least one of the seven goals Liverpool conceded in a shock defeat by Aston Villa on Sunday, in any case.
