Tottenham risking Antonio Conte wrath as Barcelona threaten to wreck Spurs transfer plans

Portuguese winger Trincao is already on loan at Wolves and could be used as part of the deal having impressed at Molineux, while Nelson Semedo also signed for the club in 2020.

If Barca are willing to use Trincao in a deal then the move could be completed very quickly, with Wolves surely likely to want to keep the tricky forward.

Doing a player-for-player deal may appeal to Wolves, whereas Spurs director of football Fabio Paratici is thought to be offering a loan-to-buy deal to the Midlands side.

This means that Traore would have just 12 months left of his contract and thus his value would deplete if Spurs did not sign him permanently, so a quick, immediate deal that would see Trincao join permanently appears the more attractive proposition.

But it is not just at right wing-back where Conte wants to sign and he has made it clear that he expects to add quality to his squad this month.
