Tottenham player ratings: Carlos Vinicius shines as Spurs run riot in Europa League

Carlos Vinicius 8

If there has been one player that has eluded Spurs in the last few seasons, it was an adequate deputy to Harry Kane. While the likes of Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen never looked up to the role, Vinicius could finally be the solution. He was relatively quiet in the second period, but is the type of player that comes alive when the ball is in the box. Just what is needed.

Pierre-Emile Hojberg (on for Ndombele, 61 min) 6

Is now Mourinho’s go to man. Was frustrated with a lack of intensity in the second 45, provided it straight away in the build-up to the fourth.

Jack Clarke (on for Bale, 67 mins) 6

Struggled to really get involved as the game became nothing more than an exhibition.

Alfie Whiteman (on for Hart, 82) Great moment as he collected a corner, earned a huge round of applause from the man he replaced.

Harvey White (on for Alli, 82) Only on for minutes and nearly scored, with his shot just going inches wide.

Dane Scarlett (on for Moura, 82) Fantastic touch, but couldn’t quite get a shot away.
