Tottenham Hotspur: No Harry Kane in team for Chelsea friendly

Hakim Ziyech scored twice for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before Spurs came back

Tottenham were without wantaway striker Harry Kane as they drew 2-2 in a pre-season friendly at Chelsea.

Manchester City want the 28-year-old but will not pay the £160m Spurs are reportedly asking.

A Hakim Ziyech double gave Chelsea a 2-0 lead in the friendly but Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn scored for Nuno Espirito Santo’s Spurs.

Both teams named strong sides, with a first appearance for Spurs goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini after his loan move from Atalanta.

It was the second game of the Mind Series involving Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs. Funds raised will be split between mental health charity Mind and the clubs’ foundations.
