Tottenham chief Daniel Levy 'makes contact' with Real Madrid to satisfy Mourinho request

Real paid €50m to sign the 22-year-old back in 2019, but has failed to make the impact that was expected.

Zidane opted to use the former Porto star just 15 times last season and has become completely surplus to requirements this term.

In total, Militao has played just three times and Real could look to cash in, in order to fund their own transfer business.

Tottenham’s first choice pairing at the back this season has been Toby Alderweireld and Eric Dier, although Joe Rodon stepped in for the FA Cup win over Marine last week.
