Tottenham boss Antonio Conte 'in agreement' with board over Tanguy Ndombele punishment

Ndombele reportedly pushed for an exit during the summer, although the club held off on cashing in, presumably because no satisfactory offers had come in for the player.

Understandably, the club have given him every chance to succeed as their record signing, with the fee potentially creeping above £60million.

Recouping most of that sum seems to have become more difficult for Spurs as time has worn on, with fitness issues and questionable performances plaguing Ndombele’s time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Until his prospective exit, the Frenchman can only attempt to change the perception of his manager and the fans if he is given another opportunity to prove his worth on the pitch.
