Arguably Definitely one the most iconic Christmas movies of all time, the festive season isn’t worth enduring without at least one viewing of The Holiday.
The 2006 movie follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England. It’s festive and feel-good and if you haven’t seen it, we implore you to stop reading this and organise a duvet night pronto.
Miffy Englefield, who played Jude Law’s daughter Sophie in the hit movie, has been laying pretty low over the past 12 years, but after a recent interview with The New York Times, we had a little snoop at her socials to see what the Mr Napkinhead aficionado is up to now.
Speaking to the newspaper, Miffy, who is now 20, revealed that Jude and Cameron spent a lot of time with her and her on-screen sister – and even gifted them denim jackets emblazoned with their names after the movie wrapped.
“They made all this time for these two little kids running around,” she revealed.
So what is she up to now? Miffy is working as a barista while gigging on the punk rock scene on the side. The newspaper reports that Miffy gave up acting because her single father couldn’t keep up. “At school, people were a bit funny about the fact that I used to be an actress, but I could go to these gigs and be around people who didn’t care,” she said.
We’re happy that Miffy found her calling and is living a life she loves.
