The wife of Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has fired a dig at Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson on TikTok.

The Scotland international posted a brief clip of when he floored Jorginho with a brilliant body-swerve during Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in September.

The video, which has received over 500,000 likes on TikTok, uses audio from the viral ‘call an ambulance but not for me’ meme.

Liverpool fans clearly saw the funny side but Silva’s wife, Isabelle da Silva, used it as an opportunity to fire a shot at Robertson.

The mother-of-two replied to the Liverpool defender’s video with: ‘Chilwell is better than u dude, you even lost to Southampton’.

Isabelle also appeared to aim a barb in Tottenham’s direction as she replied to a post which asked the follower to name their team’s biggest rival without naming them with: ‘My football team’s rival has no trophies’.

Silva has quickly become a key part of Chelsea’s defence since arriving on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and Frank Lampard has admitted he was ‘tentative’ about bringing the 36-year-old to Stamford Bridge because of his age.

‘I remember playing in the Premier League at 36 and I wasn’t playing like Thiago is,’ Lampard said last month.

‘I was in and out of the team, I couldn’t play week-in, week-out because I could feel it at that stage in my career.

‘I was a bit tentative with bringing Thiago here on that front, as I knew he was a fantastic player but I wasn’t sure how he would take to the demands of the Premier League.

‘He’s been fantastic and maybe I shouldn’t have been surprised because from working with him every day you see up close just how much he puts in.

‘He prepares so well, he’s so dedicated, his reading of the game is fantastic and his desire to win headers and compete with anyone is superb.

‘He’s really studious and I think it’s clear he will go on and become a manager if he wants to be. He’s been a great addition for us both on and off the pitch.’
