These are the best flowers to buy for your friend, according to their star sign's personality traits and tastes

Gift giving has always been a great way to let a friend, colleague or a loved one know that you’re thinking about them, but the pandemic – and the social isolation that swiftly ensued – has only made the gesture even more meaningful.

But while choosing the perfect gift can often be somewhat of a headache, flowers have long been a sure-fire way to bring a smile.

Vicky Wilson, Interflora‘s in-house florist, explained: “Buying flowers for a friend is one of the simplest ways to show them you appreciate them. Any bouquet will be sure to put a smile on their face, but thinking of ways to personalise a bouquet beyond a card is a great way to show you care.”

But how to truly ‘personalise’ a floral bouquet?

“Take time to consider how their personality may be suited to a particular style or colour and include flowers with symbolic meaning for extra thoughtfulness.”

We caught up with the team at Interflora to discover what would be the perfect bouquet to buy for your friends, according to their star sign
