The Rock sends powerful message to Ashley Cain and his dying daughter Azaylia


Dwayne Johnson has sent a message of support to Ashley Cain as he nurses his young daughter through her final days.

The Ex On The Beach star, 30, posted a a video of The Rock sending his love and best wishes for him and baby Azaylia, who is battling a rare form of leukemia.

In the video, Dwayne urges him to stay strong, adding: “Your daughter’s strength is what strengthens you and all her loved ones around her, and in that she has already had this incredible impact on the world already.”

And referencing how Ashley himself speaks about the precious brave tot, he adds: “You tell that litle Lion I said ‘let’s go champ,’ and stay strong.”

The video comes shortly after Ashley revelaed that his poorly little “lioness” has replaced The Rock as his hero, as he marked her eight month ‘birthday’.

He and partner Safiyya Vorajee, 34, were told by doctors on Thursday that she could only have “days to live” amid her fight for life – and are now concentrating on giving her lots of love at home as a family.

At the start of the minute-long video, The Rock reveals that he discovered sad situation after one of Ashley’s friends DMd him and he opened it by chance.

He says: “Hey brother, Ashley, DJ here. First of all, the universe and God works in amazing, beautiful powerful mysterious ways. I rarely check my DMs but a friend of yours DMd me and sent me to your page.

“I am so sorry to hear this news. My heart breaks for you.”

Brave baby Azaylia has captured the hearts of the nation, and on Thursday fans and supporters were united in grief as Ashley revealed she had days to live.

Via a ten-minute video clip, the devoted dad explained that in the last week “a lot has been happening” which he added was “too much to write in a caption.”

Speaking to the camera, Ashley said: “So last week we had the bone marrow test and the lumbar puncture and bloods taken to send to Singapore in the hope that they could create therapy to save Azaylia’s life.

“Then we had to have a CT scan on her head and the results came back the next day to say she’s got two very big tumours on her brain.

“They also said that the chemotherapy that is usually given to treat leukaemia in the spine or the brain will not be available because she has too much pressure with these tumours.

“If they tried to go through the spinal tap it would kill her. At that point, our world came down.

“Consultants said that they think she’s only got one, two days to live, it could even be that night.”
