‘We’ve lost the drive to compete’: The Block’s Harry Pavlou threatens to QUIT the show over Jimmy and Tam’s winning streak

The Block’s Harry Pavlou has threatened to quit the renovation show after Jimmy and Tam’s back-to-back victories.

Jimmy and Tam have been clear front-runners for weeks, impressing all three of the judges and taking the top spot in a series of room reveals.

‘To be honest, every time a challenge is on we feel as if, “Why bother? We’re not going to win.” So we’ve lost the drive to even try to compete!’ Harry told TV Week.

‘It just seems to be Jimmy and Tam at it again, winning money!’ he added.

Tensions are going to reach an all-time high on The Block this week after Jimmy and Tam win yet another room reveal.

Harry, 57, his daughter, Tash, and their co-stars Sarah and George all gather for a meal and discuss their future in the competition.

‘It was so skewed because they’re so competitive. You just sort of think, “Why waste our time?” Harry tells the other contestants.

‘You feel like you’re not going to win and you come out with nothing. It’s a lost day.’

It comes after Jimmy and Tam admitted they were more interested in winning than making friends on the show.

Losing hope: Harry said, 'To be honest, every time a challenge is on we feel as if "Why bother? We're not going to win." So we've lost the drive to even try to compete!'

‘Making friends is a very nice secondary to what we’re going through but to us the end goal is winning,’ Jimmy told TV Week.

‘We want to make the best for our family out of this, so we’re going to do everything in our power to play the game the best we can,’ he added.

Jimmy and Tam have won almost every challenge so far on this year’s season of The Block, including ensuite and guest bedroom week.
