Our team of Target Price mystery shoppers have been tracking the electric vehicle (EV) market and have compiled the latest discount data, with all of the savings listed here guaranteed for buyers who use What Car?’s New Car Buying service.
Discounts run to thousands of pounds and close to 10% of the recommended retail price of some cars, although others – most notably the highly-desirable Tesla and Porsche models – are currently not being discounted as demand for these remains greater than supply.
The Government’s Plug-in Car Grant, which will pay for a maximum of 35% of the purchase price of the vehicle, up to £3000, for EV buyers, is available in addition to the saving listed here.
