News in brief from the Asia-Pacific region… a round-up of news this week has a bit of everything that is considered to be traditional competition law enforcement. China’s antitrust watchdog issued a conditional merger clearance and fined a logistics cartel for rigging bids and allocating the market. In India, the antitrust authority fined a price-fixing cartel in the paper sector and ordered a full investigation into alleged abuse of dominance by table tennis organisations. Meanwhile Korea has issued a pair of bid-rigging decisions.
