Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas is reportedly set to marry her boyfriend Danny Taylor.
The 61-year-old and her 48-year-old beau is said to have been ring shopping earlier this year.
“They actually went ring shopping earlier this year, and after Shirley spotted one she liked, Danny went and bought it,” a source told the publication.
“Shirley is quite traditional, and definitely wants Danny to get down on one knee and do the proposing — after asking her mum for her blessing first. But Danny obviously wants it to be a surprise.”
However, the source continued that the actor doesn’t want to ‘feel pressurised’ to propose before he is ready to do so.

They said the couple are content with the mutual understanding that they will marry each other one day.
Mirror have contacted Shirley’s reps for comment.
Shirley recently confessed she has been ‘learning to be herself’ after five years in the Strictly job.
She insisted: “I’m learning to be myself more on the show. That’s something my son Mark said to me: I need to drop the walls because people can spot it when you’re being guarded.
“They see right through it, so I might as well be the real me.”
The star has been busy both at work and in her personal life, revealing in October that her mum Audrey Rich was moving into the home she shared with Danny.
Speaking about her actor boyfriend, the star praised their relationship but also urged him to get down on one knee.

Speaking in an interview with Prima, Shirley said: “My relationship with Danny has changed my life. He’s very different to anyone I’ve been with before. First of all, he’s 6ft 1in, he’s the tallest man I’ve ever dated, and I love his jet black hair.
“He’s also very kind and very caring – he’s always there for me.
“I hope he’ll propose one day, but he’s never married and I think he’s a bit nervous about it, so we’ll see. Come on, Danny!”
Shirley was married to dancer Sammy Stopford when she was 18, with their relationship ending just five years later.
Then, in 1985, the head judge and Corky Ballas tied the knot. The two share son Mark Ballas together.
However, the pair ended up divorcing in 2007.
