Strictly Come Dancing’s Natalie Lowe has welcomed her first baby, with husband James Knibbs.

The 38-year-old confirmed the happy news on Twitter, telling fans: ‘Overjoyed to announce the arrival of Jack James Knibbs weighing in at 8lbs 8oz.

‘We’re all doing amazingly well and are so grateful for this gift of life.

‘Massive thank you to all the incredible team at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester @MFT_SMH @bbcstrictly @Fit_Steps.’

Right on cue, fans flooded the happy couple with congratulations.

‘Many congratulations, fabulous news,’ a follower commented.

‘Many, many congratulations to you all my lovely,’ one said. ‘Enjoy EVERY single minute.’

‘Keeeeeeeep dancing…xx xx xx x congratulations x x x x,’ a Twitter user wrote.

While another added: ‘Lovely news congrats to you both x.’

Natalie confirmed her pregnancy back in August, explaining it had been a ‘long and difficult’ journey for herself and her husband.

Alongside a sweet snap from their wedding day, she began: ‘So happy to be able to tell the world our AMAZING NEWS! My husband James and I are expecting!

‘It’s has been a rather long and difficult journey, as it is sadly for many but we are almost there and it’s now really happening. I am 21 weeks pregnant our precious baby …? is due (would you believe it) the weekend of the #strictlyfinal.

‘We are over the moon excited and can’t wait to bring a little one of our own into this AMAZING world. I now only have 1 season of #SCD to prepare for bubba’s arrival… yikes.

She added: ‘Warmest wishes, Love Nat, James, Cooper & bump. #pregnant #overjoyed with #excitement #decemberbaby2019.’

Little Jack appears to have arrived a week early, just in time for the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final.

Natalie married James in July last year, almost three years after they first announced their engagement – back in 2015.

The Australian dancer came to fame in the UK thanks to her time on Strictly, where she danced for seven years, before leaving the dancefloor in 2017.
