The agent of exciting Dutch talent Steven Bergwijn says the 21-year-old holds all the cards when it comes to deciding where he’ll move this summer.
The five-times capped winger has shone for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie this season, scoring 14 goals and contributing 12 assists in 32 appearances across the campaign.
“If you are selling a house, I don’t think you say no to a buyer in advance,” he told Dutch publication Eindhovens Dagblad .
“It is not the case that PSV will determine where Steven will be going this summer. He will choose the club if he wants a transfer.
“PSV will have to find an agreement with the club where Steven would like to go.”
One club that certainly wont be though is Ajax, with PSV technical director John de Jong joking that they would sign their rivals’ Champions League nemesis Lucas Moura if they decided to move for Bergwijn.
