Southampton eyeing free transfer for Liverpool ace Adam Lallana as Arsenal, Tottenham keen

He joined the club as a 12-year-old and played in League One, the Championship and the Premier League for the club.

Lallana was even the Southampton captain prior to his move to Merseyside, when he followed team-mate Rickie Lambert while Dejan Lovren made the same switch weeks later.

Leicester boss Rodgers, who brought Lallana to Liverpool, has repeatedly hailed the attacking midfielder of late.

He said last month: “Adam is a fantastic player and one I brought into Liverpool. I have been aware of his talents since he was a young player at Southampton.

“He has done brilliantly [at Liverpool] and I’m sure he will be weighing up his options.

“But I don’t need to speak about that now. We’ve spoken about that all through January. I don’t need to speak about the summer transfer window.
