Sir Keir Starmer on rising energy bills and windfall tax

Labour has offered a plan to reduce energy bills by £200 for all households, and reduce them by £600 for those on low and middle incomes.

Sir Keir Starmer said the government has done “absolutely nothing” to address rising energy bills but his party would introduce a windfall tax on North Sea gas and oil producers to help limit the expected rise.
