Simon Mignolet is holding out for a move to Napoli this summer.
The Liverpool keeper is now third choice at Anfield behind £67million summer signing Alisson and Loris Karius.
The Belgian, who Liverpool value at £9million, has also been linked with a move to Besiktas.
But his agent said: “We will wait over the next few days to see if they will present an offer.
“Considering that the market will close in a few days, I imagine that we will have to do it soon if we want to make a deal everyone will agree to.
“The interest is not new. Napoli like Mignolet.
“They have previously enquired about his availability in other transfer windows.
“This will not be the last word on a move to them.”
Jurgen Klopp reveals Liverpool’s expectations for Premier League season
Jurgen Klopp has told Liverpool fans are longing for their title hoodoo to end: “There are expectations, but we have them as well.”
Anfield was revved up on the opening day of the season bigger than ever before, with the Reds faithful palpably full of hope as Klopp’s men demolished West Ham 4-0.
It was Liverpool’s biggest opening day home win since 1932 when they beat Wolves 5-1, and the manager insisted his players know what is expected of them now after big summer spending…and are ready to deliver.
“There are expectations but we have expectations as well,” said Klopp. “We realised there was a very positive atmosphere around us all pre-season, it’s good that people are positive.
“But people know as well that this season will be unbelievably hard. We can’t be anything other than the challenger because we didn’t win anything in a long time.”
