Sheffield United vs Manchester United LIVE: Result and reaction from Premier League fixture today

Follow all the action live as Manchester United face a stern Premier League test at Bramall Lane against Chris Wilder’s in-form Sheffield United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s side recovered from their dire defeat at Bournemouth with a morale-boosting victory against Brighton prior to the international break. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are both set to start, however, United are still without Paul Pogba who remains a long-term injury absentee.

Sheffield come into the fixture in terrific form, having already defeated Arsenal and held Chelsea and Tottenham on their return to the top-flight. They currently sit one point ahead of United in eighth place in the league, although Dean Henderson will be forced to miss out due to the on-loan goalkeeper being unable to play against his parent club. Follow all the action below:

Blades manager Chris Wilder on Sky Sports: “Little bit disappointed they got the first goal to get back to into the game.

“We’re not in League One. If you lose a little energy they’ll turn the ball over.

“We weren’t bad – comfortable and in control.

“They were 2-0 down and we were in control. Little bit disappointed. Couple of hours on and couple of beers we’ll look back on it. We might get undone a couple of times and we got undone today, but we came roaring back.

“We celebrated. Scored in last minute. Somebody said the goal might get ruled out. A couple of times against Spurs last week it happened. It takes a a little bit away from the moment.”

The Scottish striker secured a deserved draw for the Blades:

Lingard and Greenwood to attack and dominate the game. Tuanzebe to defend a one goal lead.

Sheffield United 3-3 Manchester United: The Red Devils appeared dead and buried before a stunning end to the match at Bramall Lane:

That means that Sheffield United move up into sixth place above Arsenal and Burnley whilst Man Utd overtake Tottenham to go ninth.

Three goals in seven minutes from Williams, Greenwood and Rashford put Man Utd in front but a late goal from Oli McBurnie, and a subsequent VAR check, gave the Blades a deserved equaliser.
