Seth Rogen took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off his new look and was immediately met with sarcastic remarks by famous pals
Seth Rogen may usually be instantly recognisable by his shabby hairdo and beard, but the An American Pickle actor has ditched his look for a more tidy style.
The 39-year-old funny man took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off his new ‘do and was met with a host of hilarious comments from fellow famous faces.
He posted a selfie alongside the caption: “New hair, same smoldering look.”
The pic showed the actor with shortly trimmed grey hair and short but tidy stubble. He was wearing transparent specs and a green woolly jumper.
And his appearance was almost immediately picked apart and by other celebs.
Artist Katie Marks mocked his caption by adding: “Same grandpa cardigan.”
Numb3rs actors David Krumholtz took aim at his apparent older-looking appearance, saying: “You are Benjamin Button. At 39, you look 63. And at 63, you will be but a small chubby toddler. I look forward to baby ol’ Seth.
“This is exactly what Paul Bettany wishes he looked like.”
He later commented again, sarcastically saying: “You just stared into my soul and extracted my heart’s only remaining drop of darkness… I can never thank you enough for this hairstyle and all it means to me, my family, and my ancestors.”
Jared Mirsky got in on the action, adding: ” But what kinda glasses are those@sethrogenthey match the grays nicely. I’m getting a head of them too lol.”
Actress Rosa Acosta was slightly nicer with her words, simply saying: “I like it,” while Tommy Dorfman also sent praise, writing “Hot!”.
In May he shocked fans with his dramatic changing appearance when he shared a shot of him with no beard, no glasses and a mullet-styled haircut.
The image came about as part of his role in Hulu’s new series, Pam & Tommy. He stars alongside Lily James and Sebastian Stan in the series which tells the story of Pamela Anderson’s marriage to musician Tommy Lee after their sex tape was leaked.
Seth plays the role of Rand Gauthier, the man who stole the tape, and the actor took to Instagram to share what he looked like in character.
The latest selfie comes as a rare break from his posts surrounding his love of pottery. He regularly shares his ceramic creations with his nine million followers on the social media platform and he has even launched his own ceramics company.
