The 31-year-old kept fans on social media guessing just before Christmas Day as she teased her gender reveal to her army of followers on Instagram.
After excitedly showing a balloon which contained the much-anticipated news about the couple’s first child together, Summer said she would reveal all soon after she had ensured all family members were in the know.
And after unwrapping her “greatest gift” she and Gordon, 37, had received this festive season, she finally made the big reveal.
The influencer said: “Our greatest gift. Thank you for all the love. Hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas.”
Former Celtic TV host Summer’s good news came after she said she was ‘devastated’ that new Coronavirus rules meant she wouldn’t get to spend Christmas with her family.
Despite staying in Edinburgh, the glamorous star is originally from Norwich, and had planned for her loved ones to come and visit her in Scotland after she hadn’t seen them in over three months.
Summer said that though she was upset, she would rather everyone was safe.
She explained: “The weekend’s news was heartbreaking for everyone, especially families living apart. I was so desperate to see mine but I’d rather everyone was safe.
“Thinking of those who had plans, who are longing to see loved ones, who are poorly, isolating, alone or else….”
At the beginning of the year, Summer revealed she and her former Celtic star other half had been trying “for quite a long time” to have a baby.
Summer opened up about her desire to “grow her family” in a a blog about Mother’s Day and spoke about celebrating mothers and motherly figures.
Summer is already a stepmum to Craig’s two children from a previous relationship.
