Emily tried the fizzy juice and was impressed.

Emily shared a clip where she can be seen clutching one of IRN-BRU’s new football cans, emblazoned with the slogan ‘boogie’ for the Euros.
She said: “Okay, so Martin Compston has been talking about this – the Irn Bru! And he got me to try it. And, um… I get it. You guys are doing it right. I get it!”

She continued: “I heart you and your Irn bru” and tagged the actor.

The Greenock-born actor, 37, re-shared Emily’s video and wrote: “One of us now pal.”

Their exchange was quickly picked up by the official Irn Bru account, which responded with the cheeky comment: “Oh Schitt!”

Compston has been spotted in various places around the city with his The Rig cast.

The Greenock-born star enjoyed a boozy birthday celebration with them at the Rose Street Garden.
