Samsung and Fitbit land on this week’s luxurious tech Lust List

Some of the goodies on this week’s Lust List (Metro.co.uk)

There are two products on this week’s Lust List with the word ‘luxe’ in the title.

We didn’t pick them because of the alliteration – that’s just a nice coincidence. We picked them because we’re all about finding the greatest new tech to buy each week.

And aside from the luxury, there’s also a handy way to store your stuff safely and an affordable e-bike for getting around now that things are starting to return to normal.

Meanwhile, it might not have the word luxury in the title, but we have to marvel at Samsung’s gorgeous new laptop.

The Korean tech giant has been turning out eye-catching laptops for a long time now, but this is one of the best we’ve seen.

Here’s the full list of the tech that’s caught our eye this week.

Rega Planar 1

The Rega Planar 1

Rega’s entry-level record player’s got it where it counts, concentrating most of its efforts on the motor, tonearm and cartridge.

The result? A vinyl player that sounds way more expensive than it actually is.

£275, amazon.co.uk

Fitbit Luxe

The Fitbit Luxe

If an equal focus on fitness and fashion is important, this one auto-tracks workouts, offers HRV (heart rate variability), SpO2 and skin temperature monitoring, is waterproof, boasts a five-day battery life and looks good while doing it.

From £129.99 (pre-order), amazon.co.uk

Simba Hybrid Luxe Mattress

The Simba Hybrid Luxe Mattress

With a third of our lives spent horizontal, investing in a luxury mattress that boasts ten layers — from springs to bamboo wool — and is scientifically engineered to deliver more restorative sleep will bring luxury to your unconscious hours.

From £769, simbasleep.com

Master Lock Biometric Security Safe

The Master Lock Biometric Security Safe

Whether you need to lock away your valuables, money stash or snazzy new jewellery, why not invest in this biometric box? It’ll keep your valuables safe and save up to 30 fingerprints, doing away with hard-to-remember passcodes.

£169.42, amazon.co.uk

Samsung Galaxy Book Pro

The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro

Samsung boasts that its Galaxy Book Pro is ‘as thin as a smartphone’ and with a lightweight aluminium overcoat, Dolby Atmos for immersive sound and all-day battery life, Samsung’s efforts in laptop design have certainly not gone unnoticed.

From £1,099 (pre-order), samsung.com

Polaroid Go Starter Set

The Polaroid Go Starter Set

If there was an award for the world’s smallest analogue camera it would go to Polaroid’s extremely cute palm-sized snapper.

Expect a selfie mirror, a self-timer, a double exposure feature and teeny-tiny prints.

£128.99, uk.polaroid.com

Aldi E-Bike

The Aldi E-Bike

While many of us love the idea of an electric bike for much-needed pedal power, the price can be off-putting.

Aldi gets it, which explains why it’s just outed this affordable e-bike.

£699.99 (available Sun), aldi.co.uk
