The Avatar actor was sporting a very unique look – showing off a new head of long blonde hair tucked behind his ears.

He wore a long-sleeved button-up blue shirt, jeans and brown shoes.

Sam appeared to be in a solemn mood as he was walking on the set of the film.

He was then pictured talking to the director of the film (and fellow actor) Matt Nable.

Transfusion is Nable’s directorial debut. He was most recently seen in the latest season of the Aussie hit crime show, ‘Mr Inbetween.’

In Transfusion, Sam will star as Ryan Logan, a former special forces operative, who is battling to cope with life after the loss of his wife.

Ryan is soon thrust into the criminal underworld to keep his only son from being taken from him.

Phoebe will portray Logan’s wife Justine in the film, while Nable will play Johnny.

Stan’s Chief content officer Cailah Scobie said that viewers would be in for a ‘powerful, thought-provoking Australian thriller’.
