Sam Thompson has confessed that sister Louise Thompson, who is due to give birth any moment now, has opted to veto his cheeky suggestions for his future nephew’s name
The former Made in Chelsea star and fiancé Ryan Libbey are due to welcome their first child into the world together later this month.
Sam – who still appears in the E4 reality TV show – has admitted that he had plenty of suggestions for the moniker of his unborn nephew but all sadly got vetoed.
“I’m so excited to be an uncle, I’ve already bought them pairs of trainers, whilst Louise has bought sensible clothing like corduroy dungarees,” the star told us when chatting about his new role as Chief Prankster for Elves Behavin’ Badly.

“I am definitely going to be the cool uncle,” he sweetly added.
“All the names I’ve suggested for the baby have been vetoed, I even suggested variations of my own name like Sammy-Jo but Louise has already got a name picked out, it’s a good one. Strong.”
Louise announced she was expecting her first child back in May, with a heartfelt post to her followers on social media.
Posting a sweet snap of herself, fiancé Ryan and a scan picture, the fitness guru revealed she was 12 weeks pregnant as well as sadly sharing the news she had suffered a miscarriage earlier this year.
The reality TV star recently updated her Instagram fans on her due date, telling her followers last week: “No baby yet, but a lot going on!”
As well as discussing his the pending arrival of his new nephew, Sam also opened up about his relationship with girlfriend Zara McDermott.
Due to Sam’s love of pranks, the former Love Island star is often the victim of the Made in Chelsea star’s mischief-making ways.

Christmas toy brand Elves Behavin’ Badly have decided to make good use of the cheeky star’s ways and hired Sam as Chief Prankster – a role long-suffering girlfriend Zara may not be too pleased about.
“Coming up with Pranksmas ideas with the Elves and being encouraged to cause chaos and taunt Zara for basically the whole month of December – amazing – she won’t know what’s hit her!” he admitted when discussing his new gig.
“My favourite prank is one I go to a lot, in fact I did it with the elves as part of the Pranksmas campaign, you fill a cupboard up with Rice Krispies and pretend you can’t open the door,” the prankster continued.
“You yell for your partner or friend for help and they yank the doors open. Poor Zara has had this happen to her a lot.”
Sam also revealed his and Zara’s plans for the festive season and how life is going living with the former Love Island star.
“My Mum’s house recently suffered a fire so the plan is for her to spend Christmas with Zara and I,” he explained to us.
“It’s going to be a proper family Christmas this year, excited to share it with the new baby. Luckily Louise is a neighbour so am sure she and I will be sharing the cooking duties.”
He added: “Our house is almost ready, we will be moving in shortly. Zara has put her mark on the place, and it now feels like the perfect home.”
