Sam Heughan's new book Clanlands: The Almanac hits New York Times Best Seller list

Sam Heughan and his Outlander co-star Graham McTavish released their second book Clandlands: The Almanac last month, and already it has made the New York Times Best Seller list.

The Scottish duo’s new book sees them become tour guides once again to bring readers more epic tales in this “seasonal meander through the wilds of Scotland”.

Looking at customs and traditions from First Footing to Samhain throughout the year, alongside Scottish legends and whisky lore the dynamic duo will share stories and tips for Scots and Non-Scots alike.

Some fans have even said that the new book is so funny it should come with a warning.

And now, it has been recognised on the New York Times Best Seller list, placing fourth.

Outlander writer Diana Gabaldon is also on the list.
