Ruth Langsford has credited her body confidence to husband Eamonn Holmes, despite being two dress sizes bigger than her 40s.
The 60-year-old said she felt “sexy at 60” thanks to his admiration and many compliments.
She told Closer magazine: “I definitely feel sexy at 60, but a big part of this is thanks to my husband.
“I don’t have Botox or fillers so I see pictures of myself and go, ‘Is that me? Whose neck is that?’ Most of the time it doesn’t bother me and a lot of my friends, who aren’t in TV, well we all look like this.
“Eamonn makes me feel sexy. He tells me ‘You look fantastic, I think you’re really sexy, I fancy you’ and that’s great. He definitely boosts my confidence.”
Ruth told the publication she was now two dress sizes bigger than in her 40s, and admitted: “I do have a certain degree of confidence in myself but it’s not that high.”
She said: “Of course I don’t look in the mirror and say, “I love you cellulite “.
Eamonn and Ruth stepped down as regular Friday morning hosts on This Morning in an emotional show on December 18, but will return to screens in February to cover the school holidays.
The two wed in 2010 but have been together since 1997. They share one son, 18-year-old Jack, while Eamonn has three older children from his first marriage.
Ruth said she waited until their second date to sound him out on whether he would be open to having more children.
And the veteran presenter said that had he been firmly against the idea, their relationship would have ended then and there.
Luckily Eamonn said the right thing, and the pair went on to forge one of the strongest marriages in showbusiness.
This week Ruth swooned over a picture of Eamonn in his suit, after he posted to Instagram.
“All dressed up and nowhere to go…..” Eamonn, 61, captioned the photo.
Ruth replied with a kiss emoji and wrote: “Looking good kid.”
