Roberto Firmino has labelled Philippe Coutinho one of the very best in the world and says playing with him at Liverpool was a pleasure.
Both players were in action for Brazil in their dominant 5-0 victory over Bolivia in Saturday’s World Cup qualifying clash.
Firmino netted twice for the home team with Coutinho adding Brazil’s fifth.
Barcelona midfielder Coutinho has started this season brightly after being deemed surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou last campaign, and sent out on loan to Bayern Munich.
He was at the heart of Brazil’s attacking football on the weekend, and is playing with the form that saw him win a £142million transfer in 2018.

Heaping praise on his international team-mate, Firmino told FIFA.com: “He’s phenomenal.

“You always have to watch replays of his plays to understand what he’s done. He’s an unbelievable player. It was a pleasure to play with him at Liverpool, and it’s a pleasure to play with him for the Selecao.
