Pregnant Lauren Goodger has shared her angst over her battle with hay fever – admitting she’s been left looking “puffy” and feeling “sleepy”.
The 34-year-old took to her Instagram stories to show fans her swollen face after another day struggling with the pollen allergy.
She told her 782 thousand followers: “My hayfever is killing me. So puffy and sleepy!”
The TV personality’s face looked swollen as she posed for the short video clip taken in the front of a mirror.
The former Towie star is due to give birth to her first child, a daughter, next month with partner Charles Drury.
The dad-to-be turned 24 today, with girlfriend Lauren calling him her “best friend” in a touching birthday tribute the builder and amateur footballer.
“Happy 24th birthday to my world,” the reality TV star wrote over a snap of the happy couple on her Instagram stories.
“My boyfriend, my best friend and the father of our 1st baby. I love you so much and can’t wait for this weekend away with you.”
The 34-year-old star went on to share several more snaps of her doting boyfriend as the pair prepare to welcome their baby girl into the world very soon.
Lauren appears to be opting for a water birth, after previously saying that it would provide her with the “calmest labour” for herself and the baby.
Speaking to her fans on social media, she asked for tips on birthing pools as she informed followers that she plans to give birth at home.
“Need to get a birthing pool,” she captioned a shot of herself dipping her toes in a paddling pool.
“Has anyone got any recommendations? I will buy not hire,” she added.
While the reality TV star is certainly excited about her upcoming birth, the mum-to-be revealed that her own mother hadn’t been in touch with her throughout her pregnancy.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Lauren said: “No, I haven’t heard from her or seen her, but she’s probably got her own stuff going on. It’s a shame if she misses out, but I’ve got so much going on I need to keep positive and focused on my baby.
“It doesn’t upset me, but it’s a shame she’s missed out on the pregnancy.”
In the past, the pregnant star has talked about the fact that her mum sent her to live with her dad when she was just four-year-olds, while two of her siblings remained living with her mum, Cheryl Goodger.
In a chat with OK! magazine back in 2014, estranged-mum Cheryl opened up about her relationship with her daughter and how her childhood has impacted her life as an adult.
“[Her insecurities stem from] when she went to live with her dad at four,” she told the publication.
“I was very depressed after I had Lauren. I didn’t get any help and I sort of rejected Lauren because of that.”
