Pregnant Laura Whitmore shows off bump as she says her clothes don't fit anymore

Laura Whitmore showed off her growing baby bump as she joked her best clothes don’t fit her anymore now she’s with child.

The 35-year-old Love Island host announced this month she and husband Iain Stirling are expecting their first baby in the New Year.

Snapping a selfie on Boxing Day in her ‘favourite’ yellow jumper, Laura joked she was going to have to stop wearing it now that it exposed her stomach.

“That day after Christmas bloat,” she captioned the photo.

“Probably about time I acknowledged my favourite yellow jumper doesn’t fit anymore,” she told her followers.

The mum-to-be spent her first ever Christmas in London this year after it was plunged into Tier 4 restrictions by Boris Johnson last week.

Laura spent the day with her new hubby Iain, 32, who made sure they got into the festive spirit while being miles away from their families by dressing up as Santa Claus.

Earlier this month it was reported that Laura and Iain had secretly tied the knot after marrying in a humanist ceremony at Dublin’s City hall on November 11.

They’re said to have married in front of 25 guests, the maximum allowed under Ireland’s level five rules at the time.

Laura’s half-brother Adam and Iain’s sister Kirsten were the witnesses, according to a marriage certificate seen by The Sun.

The showbiz couple have been together since 2017 and got engaged when Iain popped the question in South Africa, while they filmed the first winter edition of Love Island.

They broke the news that they are expecting their first child together on Instagram earlier this month.

“I want to now share good news as it’s our news to share – and I’m gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control. Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021,” Laura told her followers.

“It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning. I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade!
We’d appreciate our privacy respected but just wanted to spread some love and a reminder of the beauty of life.”
