Binky Felstead gets emotional messages from fans suffering a miscarriage – months after she bravely spoke out about losing her unborn child.
Now pregnant with a much-loved ‘rainbow baby’, the 30-year-old socialite finds comfort in knowing that being open and honest about the horrendous loss has helped other people.
She told Notebook magazine that it was “important” for her to break the stigma around pregnancy loss.
“I’m still getting messages from people who are having miscarriages saying they’re so grateful,” she said.
“I spoke up. When I discovered I was pregnant again, this helped a lot of people, too.
“Obviously, it’s an incredibly sad thing to experience, but it’s so nice to see I’ve helped them, even in a small way.”
Binky is expecting a sibling for daughter India, 4, in June – and has also been busy juggling work duties with her investment in new talent management agency Matchstick Group.
India’s dad is Binky’s former MIC co-star JP Patterson, and the little one is apparently delighted to have a baby sibling on the way.
Binky is also extremely excited – and admitted the thought of seeing her fiancé Max Darnton holding their tot makes her heart soar.
She added: “He’s going to be incredible, he’s already fantastic with India. I can’t wait to see him with his baby.
“There’s nothing nicer than seeing the man of your dreams holding your new baby. It’ll be the best feeling ever.”
