Binky Felstead has revealed that her fiancé Max Darnton felt ‘hopeless’ after their first pregnancy together ended in miscarriage last year.
The Made In Chelsea star, 30, who is currently expecting her second child, a son, with her partner candidly reflected on how their baby loss affected Max.
In an interview with the Made by Mammas podcast on Sunday, she said that men can often be overlooked during a miscarriage and revealed that she once found him ‘in bits’ crying in their bedroom.

Binky shared the story with Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton from the Made by Mammas podcast at the virtual parenting event, The Baby Show Live @ Home.
The mother-to-be was asked who she turned to for support after the miscarriage and while she gushed about her supportive fiancé, she said that losing their baby had a huge affect on him too.
She explained that although Max was a great support to her, calling him ‘incredible’, he was also ‘mentally distraught’ himself after she miscarried at the 12 week mark.
Binky said: ‘You don’t think about the men as well, no one really talks about the men but he was just so upset.
‘I found him in bits in our bedroom crying because he felt so hopeless.

‘He didn’t know what to do because obviously, physically it was my body going through it but mentally he just felt distraught.
‘He couldn’t help me apart from hug me and let me cry on his shoulder’.
In October, the couple decided to share their story in an emotional Instagram post and since speaking out the reality star revealed she receives messages ‘daily’ from other mothers going through the same thing.
She also said that after going public with their grief, her fiancé Max gets messages from friends looking for advice from a male perspective.

‘I’ve had really close friends since, get pregnant and have had a miscarriage,’ she said.
‘And Max’s friends… they’ve messaged him saying “My girlfriend’s just had a miscarriage, is there any advice you can give me to give to my girlfriend, or my wife?”.’
Binky, who is now around 24 weeks pregnant, went on to admit that she hopes this will not be her last pregnancy as she wants a big family of about ‘three or four’ children with Max.
She said they didn’t hesitate to start a family together, saying: ‘I’ve always wanted a few children so Max was just like “Let’s get cracking”.

‘I’m looking forward to having a big family, because I’m one of three and I’m thinking I kind of want the same.
‘Three or four, if I’m lucky enough to have that.’
Binky also spoke about getting pregnant again after a miscarriage saying: ‘It’s just scary going to scans before you can feel the baby kick.
‘[We were] holding our breaths, keeping our eyes closed waiting for her to say, there’s a heartbeat, it’s fine.’
Last Sunday, she shared a sweet video on Instagram of her daughter India, three, holding and rubbing her baby bump.
The pregnant TV star revealed that they were ‘waiting for kicks’ as they watched television together on the sofa.
In the sweet video, India looked every inch the doting big sister as she protectively put her hand on her mother’s tummy.
Binky looked radiant in the clip as she displayed her growing baby bump in a grey knitted loungewear set.

The reality star lifted the top slightly so her 1.4 million followers could see her bump and India could wait for kicks from her baby brother.
The reality star recently told her Instagram followers she was expecting another Gemini, which means her baby boy is due between May 21 and June 21.
Binky shares daughter India, three, with her former co-star ex-boyfriend Josh Patterson, 31.
She and Max got engaged in September following a 19-month romance after meeting at countryside private members’ club Soho Farmhouse.
She confirmed her second pregnancy on Boxing Day, and has kept fans updated with snaps throughout her pregnancy as she prepares to welcome a son.
