Who will United sign this summer? Comment below
Pogba addresses Juventus rumour
France international Pogba may have one year left on his contract at United but rumours are circulating that he could be close to joining Juventus – because of his new hairstyle.
His latest do features black and white colours, famously those of the Bianconeri, but he has laughed off the suggestion.
He told Sky Sport Italia : “Is the black and white hair a signal for the future? I was expecting this question. There is no future now, only the European Championship. The hair changes often.”
While Pogba has been coy about his United future, reports suggest a move is likely with United having an offer rejected by Real Madrid to swap the French star for Raphael Varane.
United could lose Raphael Varane race
The French international is out of contract at the Spanish giants next summer and are said to be “resigned” to losing him in the transfer window.
And while City and other clubs could sign Varane, the reports says United are still the front runners.
Van de Beek to leave?
It’s been clear Donny van de Beek hasn’t been happy at United and has even had crisis talks with Solskjaer about his place at the club.
The manager spoke about the star’s unsettled period at the club earlier this season.
He said: “I wouldn’t say that Donny is happy. Of course, he wants to play more, but he gets about his job in the right manner.
“We are doing well and have got players who are playing really well in his position.
“He reminds me a lot about myself, when I first came in, that he understands my difficulties and challenges.
“I was the same with Sir Alex [Ferguson, former Man Utd head coach]. When he left me out I understood and I was happy for the team to win – and Donny is that type of guy.
“He knows he is important for us and knows he is going to play many games.”
However, it’s been reported by The Transfer Window Podcast that the star is not keen on a move to Borussia Dortmund in a deal that could be used to makeweight for England’s Sancho.
