Piers Morgan's fans swoon over hunky throwback as they label him 'a dish'

Forget his forthright views, it seems Piers Morgan’s fans may be watching Good Morning Britain for another reason.

The uncompromising telly star sparked a wave of admiring comments on the weekend, when he shared a sweet throwback with his three sons.

Piers’ 1.3million Instagram followers rushed to comment on the wholesome photo, swooning over the “hunky” star.

The now 55-year-old was pictured smiling at the camera as a younger man, his sons Spencer, Albert and Stanley in his arms.

He had a political point to make with the shot, which he posted with the caption: “Throwback to the days when we were allowed to hug our children.”

But for Piers fans, the image had another message entirely.

“Look how handsome u are!” wrote on fan, while another gushed: “You could be David Hasselhoff’s twin in your photo.”

A third swooned: “You look like a bit of a dish there Piers Morgan.”

“Pretty handsome,” wrote another.

But not everyone was impressed, with one fan laughing: “They grew up to be lovely looking boys, they must take after their mum.”

The three boys are his children with first wife Marion Shalloe, who he was married to from 1991 to 2008.

He also shares a daughter Elise with his current wife Celia Walden.

Good Morning Britain continues on weekdays from 6am on ITV.
