PIERS Morgan sweat it out in the gym with his personal trainer as he teased that he is “back in the game”.
The 55-year-old star vowed that PT Sarah Lindsay will never “break” him as she put him through his paces at Roar Fitness.
Taking to his Instagram page, Piers stood strong with a weight in each hand as he defiantly stared down the camera.
The Good Morning Britain presenter was dressed uncharacteristically in tracksuit bottoms, trainers, and a blue T-Shirt – marked with sweat.
Sarah is stood beside him in a protective face mask, sternly pointing a finger at outspoken Piers as she gets him to work.
The star captioned his post: “Back in the game. ?? PS You’ll never break me @roarfitnessgirl”.
But it appears that he may have met his match, with Sarah commenting: “And vice versa @piersmorgan #clashofthetitons ??????”.
The gym session comes ahead of Piers’ return to Good Morning Britain next week following his and co-host Susanna Reid’s half-term break.
The two regularly argue over their differing views; with Spencer believing that lockdown rules are too strict and unnecessary – while Piers has been consistently vocal in his belief that the government aren’t doing enough amid the pandemic.
Spencer and Piers have previously insisted that the bickering is just healthy debate between a father and son, with Piers telling one critic: “I’ve always encouraged my children to be their own people & speak their own minds…”
Spencer added: “Only idiots can’t have a civilised debate”.
Spencer is Piers’ oldest son with ex Marion Shalloe, who he also shares 23-year-old Stanley and 19-year-old Bertie with.
The star is also dad to eight-year-old Elise with wife Celia Walden.
