Piers Morgan says Eugenie and Beatrice weren't interested in his parenting tips

Piers Morgan has confessed that his parenting suggestions were unwanted as he offered Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice tips, calling himself an “expert”.

In a conversation with the two Princesses, which the controversial broadcaster wrote about in his Mail On Sunday column, Piers offered the Royals parenting tips.

He said: “If you two need any parenting tips for your expanding Royal creche, I’ve had four kids so am something of an expert.”

He wrote that the Princesses eyebrows raised in “synchronised horror” at the suggestion, before their “unified response” came.

The response attributed to the Princesses was: “No, we’re good thanks, Piers”.

Piers also claimed that he asked the Princesses to thank their mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, for her support following his departure from Good Morning Britain.

The 56-year-old had left the morning talk show after he refusing to apologise over controversial comments he had made about the Duchess of Sussex.

Piers had questioned the validity of Meghan’s struggle with her mental health after she shared with Oprah Winfrey how she felt suicidal during her time as a working royal.

The comments Piers made led to Good Morning Britain receiving over 57,000 Ofcom complaints – which made it the most complained about show this year.

When discussing Meghan opening up about harbouring suicidal feelings during her time in the UK, Piers said that he “didn’t believe a word” of what she had said in the interview.

ITV weatherman Alex Beresford branded his behaviour ‘diabolical’ and Piers stormed off the set, later coming back after his co-star Susanna Reid urged him to.

Piers quit the show after refusing to apologise over his Meghan Markle comments live on-air.

Piers emphasised his relationship with the Duchess of York, writing “I’ve always had a soft spot for Fergie”.

He told Princess Beatrice, “She’s always been very loyal to me, and I greatly appreciate it.”

Princess Beatrice responded saying that the Duchess “appreciates” the loyalty Piers has shown her.

Piers went on to elaborate on knowing both Princesses since they were young, bringing attention to the media attention that they have faced over the years.

The broadcaster went on to highlight that their father Prince Andrew’s “shameful friendship with billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein” added to the “tough time” they faced in the media.

He went on to describe the Princesses as “incredibly nice, polite and good fun”, pointing out that they “never complain”, “give whining interviews” or “publicly trash their family”.

The father-of-four emphasised that he was referring to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with the comment, as he said it was a “refreshing change from their narcissistic, self-pitying, family-abusing, spoiled-brat cousins over in California”.
